in the Philippines they've declared a state of emergency in South Korea they're alternating 02:52.760 --> 02:58.440 which days who can drive you've seen emergency measures in all sorts of countries as non-essential vehicle use with harsh penalties for offenders again same playbook as 03:55.500 --> 04:02.140 we saw during the COVID lockdowns immediate suspension of domestic flights except essential they're saying will be halted an agricultural 04:13.560 --> 04:19.220 machinery grounded as well which is at the worst possible time right now for Australia 04:19.220 --> 04:25.520 during the harvest season now to ease a little bit of the anxiety around this because I totally 04:25.520 --> 04:31.680 get it this is a very anxious and stressful period for everyone around the world does this mean 05:38.440 if Australia has less than three weeks of energy supplies left and their usual partners have 05:38.440 --> 05:45.240 said they've said on record they can't provide Australia with any fuels petrol diesel jet fuel 05:45.720 --> 05:51.540 and if they're getting it from the US so it's either going to come from the west coast or it's 05:51.540 --> 06:00.040 come from Texas well that's a 30 day journey by sea 60 days in the kind of worst-case scenario it is 06:00.040 --> 06:05.640 possible worst-case scenario it could take 45 to 60 days so what exactly is going to happen 06:05.640 --> well whoever actually signed that off and ordered it I think should be tried for crimes against 12:04.700 --> 12:12.200 humanity for what they've now done well Australia and New Zealand they destroyed their refineries 12:12.200 --> 12:18.480 and you think about Australia back in the year what 2000 roughly they had eight refineries 12:18.480 --> 12:25.400 eight refineries that produced 90% of all the energy needs that they needed in terms of liquid 12:25.400 --> 12:32.560 fuels now they have two and they rely on imports and even those two that they actually 12:33.140 --> 12:38.800 allowed as it were to continue those two have been hit so hard with net zero policies 12:39.420 --> 12:47.220 that they I'm amazed they've even continued and been able to stay profitable or look at this walk days as of recording this right now it is 21 14:08.940 --> 14:16.820 days and that's why I said that you could go into this lockdown within 21 days if a solution 14:16.820 --> 14:24.820 isn't found quickly what is that solution I really don't know I don't know how that is going to 14:24.820 --> 14:32.820 work out the IEA even reprimanded Australia for not having any reserves because the straight 14:32.820 --> 14:37.140 would open up I guess they were just betting hoping and praying that the straight would 14:37.140 --> 14:43.100 simply open up but that hasn't happened so they're really running out of options now which is why 14:43.100 --> 14:48.280 there was the emergency plan that was leaked it actually wasn't supposed to have come out to the 14:48.280 --> 14:54.340 public but somebody leaked it in fact if you just look at this tracker on screen here which shows 14:54.340 --> 15:03.260 the outages now at the time of recording this video on this walk it was 511 fuel stations so by 15:03.260 --> 15:09.440 the time I get back to edit this three hours later you'll see what that number is now and 15:09.440 --> 15:16.000 you can see it's heavily focused around the outages are in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne regions but 15:16.000 --> 15:23.620 also Perth on the other coast is also suffering but there's also farmers taking to X and other 15:23.620 --> 15:29.640 social media and making posts about this they're saying there's no fuel left they haven't got 15:29.640 --> 15:35.980 agricultural diesel for what they need it for right now there's just no diesel left but if 15:35.980 --> 15:42.220 you think that that's the end of the story but wait there's more analysts are now modelling 15:42.640 --> 15:49.260 they're calling it war gaming but they're basically
