Despite the majority of the Roman Empire still 05:45.900 --> 05:50.600 practicing worship of Roman gods, the persecution of these beliefs and the promotion of Christianity 05:50.600 --> 05:55.100 as the only accepted religion of the Roman Empire continued after Theodosius's death 05:55.100 --> 06:00.180 with the reign of his sons.
